This video explores whether it’s safe to ask someone if they are thinking about suicide. Many people worry that bringing up the subject might put the idea in someone’s mind or make things worse, but research shows the opposite is true. Talking openly about suicide can reduce stigma, make someone feel less isolated, and open the door to honest conversations.

This video looks at common myths about suicide, such as “only people with a mental health diagnosis are at risk” or “once someone decides, nothing can change their mind.” It shares the facts, shows that anyone can be affected, and highlights how talking about suicide can save lives.

This video encourages reaching out for help - whether you are experiencing suicidal thoughts yourself or are worried about someone else. It shares ways to start those conversations and signposts to immediate support through Papyrus HOPELINE247.

This video reflects on the unique and often overwhelming grief that comes after losing someone to suicide. It talks about the complex emotions people may experience, the importance of remembering the person you’ve lost, and where to find specialist support, including Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SOBS).
