Prevent for Educators

Prevent is an ever-changing area of safeguarding and schools need relevant resources to help young people understand and navigate topics linked to radicalisation, extremism and vulnerability to harmful influences. The need is evolving all the time and most resources struggle to keep pace.

We're currently delivering two pilots funded by the Home Office and the Department for Education, which explore how Peerscroller helps support Prevent in different education settings. In Greater Manchester, we're working with 27 schools - mainstream and alternative provisions - to support their wider approach to Prevent, while in the West Midlands, the pilot focuses on supporting young people who require targeted early help.

On this page, you'll find our videos organised into the key Prevent themes, helping you find relevant resources to support learning and start critical conversations - not just in school but at home as well.
