Resource Pack: The Manosphere
What does it really mean to be a man today, and who gets to decide? For many young people, the answer is increasingly shaped by what they see online. The “manosphere” is a loose network of influencers, communities and content creators discussing masculinity, relationships, success and power. While some messages promote confidence and self-improvement, others reinforce harmful stereotypes, unrealistic expectations, and negative attitudes towards women and emotional expression.
This resource pack explores what the manosphere is, why it can be appealing, and how its messages can shape beliefs and behaviour. Most importantly, it supports learners to question what they see, challenge unhealthy ideas, and build a more positive understanding of masculinity.
