Resource Pack: Ofsted Preparation
An Ofsted inspection feels like a big deal for learners. (And, to be fair, for teachers too!) Suddenly there are unfamiliar faces walking around, students being pulled into conversations, and lots of questions about school life. It’s completely normal for young people to feel nervous or unsure about what’s expected of them.
This resource pack is designed to take some of the mystery out of the inspection process. Through a series of short, relatable videos, learners will explore what Ofsted actually is, why inspectors speak to students, and how to approach those conversations with confidence. The pack reassures young people that inspections aren’t about catching them out or saying the “perfect” thing; they’re about sharing honest experiences and helping inspectors understand what life at their school or college is really like.
