Resource Pack: Knife Crime Prevention

with Partner Charities

Last year, 205 people lost their lives due to knife crime in the UK. Behind every one of these figures is a life, a family, and a community changed. Prevention starts with meeting young people where they are and understanding their reality.

This resource pack brings together our video collaborations with the Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Unit, Charlie's Promise and The James Brindley Foundation, to help young people understand the realities of knife crime, challenge common misconceptions, and make safer, more informed choices.

Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Unit

This short film, created with the Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Unit, challenges attitudes towards carrying knives by exploring the choices young people make and the consequences that can follow. Centred around the question "Why?", it encourages reflection, discussion, and early intervention.

Charlie’s Promise
